Lineman Apprentice 1 (GA)

What You’ll Do:
- Assist linemen with installing and repairing power cables and wires
- Help erect poles and transmission towers
- Climb poles or use bucket trucks to access equipment
- Dig holes, set poles, lay underground cable, and handle line hardware
- Operate hand and power tools; drive company vehicles to job sites
- Follow strict safety protocols, attend safety training, and report hazards
- Work in all weather conditions and at heights
What They’re Looking For:
- 1,000+ hours as a lineman helper or equivalent training/experience
- NCCER Construction Craft Laborer or Core Curriculum certification preferred
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to perform physical work, work at heights, and operate required tools
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
