What You’ll Do:

  • Assist linemen with installing and repairing power cables and wires
  • Help erect poles and transmission towers
  • Climb poles or use bucket trucks to access equipment
  • Dig holes, set poles, lay underground cable, and handle line hardware
  • Operate hand and power tools; drive company vehicles to job sites
  • Follow strict safety protocols, attend safety training, and report hazards
  • Work in all weather conditions and at heights

What They’re Looking For:

  • 1,000+ hours as a lineman helper or equivalent training/experience
  • NCCER Construction Craft Laborer or Core Curriculum certification preferred
  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to perform physical work, work at heights, and operate required tools
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
