The Time I Got Stuck in a Tree

Funny thing happened last week while I was inspecting a line close to some trees. I climbed up to check some connections, but between the branches and the high-voltage warning signs, I ended up figuring out my own ‘branching’ path down. Lesson here: always scout the area first for escape routes, because nature has its own sense of humor.

, I can totally relate! One time I was up a ladder trying to fix a line, and I realized I hadn’t even checked for branches above. It’s such a pain when you have to think about escape routes mid-job. a good pair of binoculars for scouting can save you a lot of head-scratching moments!”.

Took a wrong turn on a service call once and ended up stuck in a hedge! Always check the tree’s height — those branches can surprise you. Ever thought about using a drone for scouting? :helicopter:.

I once climbed a tree to check on a line and ended up stuck, too! A quick tip: always carry a small pocket saw just in case you need to clear branches on the way down. Like you said, nature really doesn’t hold back on throwing curveballs.
