Reducing rolled work orders each week

We’re averaging 14 rolled work orders every Friday despite locking 90% of our Maximo schedule by 3 p.m. Thursday, and I’m trying to pin whether the driver is time-window sizing or crew assignment rules. For those managing field crews, have you cut reschedules by tightening buffers to 10 minutes or by front-loading more dispatch in the morning?

We kept the ‘lock 90% by 3 p.m… Thursday’ but added a 4:30 p.m. auto‑resequence in Maximo Scheduler (Resequence by Slack + zone grouping) so crews start with same‑area work, which cut Friday rolls about 35% without tightening buffers to 10 minutes. Are you using zones in Assignment Manager or only travel minutes?

Try a “no new starts after 2:30” for >60‑min jobs; our rolls fell about 35%. Viable, @Sam?
