Preparing Gear for Winter Weather

With colder temperatures rolling in, it’s crucial to double-check our equipment and gear. I recently started doing a more thorough inspection of the insulated gloves and boots before we head out to the field. It really helps to ensure everyone stays safe and warm when tackling those tough jobs during winter storms. Anyone else have tips on what gear we should focus on?

Good call on checking insulated gloves — i always ensure my thermal socks are in good shape too. Have you tried layering for extra warmth? :gloves:.

I hear you on the gloves — keeping those warm is key! I’d also suggest checking headgear; a warm beanie can make a world of difference, especially when those winter winds start howling. @ella3865, have you found any particular brands that work well?
