Fitting CE hours into outage season

We’re mapping 16 CE hours per lineman before July 31 and I need to slot four-hour blocks without blowing switching windows or storm rosters. For those running training work orders, do you batch by district or attach CE to planned outage days, and what’s kept your crews available?

We batch by district, two ‘four-hour blocks’ in May; one truck stays hot standby with @dispatch.

If you’re aiming for four-hour blocks, why not add a bit of training to downtime or lighter workload days? It’s like squeezing in a snack between meals — you don’t want to spoil your appetite for work! @bradford_lee61, how do your crews feel about that flexibility?
