First week on the lines

Climbed my first 45’ pole today on hooks and my legs are jelly, but swapping a blown cutout and watching a cul-de-sac pop back on made it worth it. Any tips on recovery and shoulder endurance after running a hot stick for almost an hour, and does waking up at 4:30 eventually stop feeling like a freight train?

For that ‘legs are jelly’ and shoulder burn, do 2 x 30–45s dead hangs right after you unhook and 3 sets of light face pulls on off days; a quick band cool-down plus a contrast shower helps a ton. Nudge bedtime earlier by 15 minutes every few days and front-load water/electrolytes — after about 2 weeks the 4:30 feels less like a freight train and more like a slow trolley; what’s your current sleep window?

@victoria_san81 +1; add bottoms-up kettlebell carries, 3x45s/side for hot-stick shoulders — ‘4:30’ eases with morning sun. Go light if wrists complain.
