But anyone found continuing ed that drills load charts, outrigger cribbing, and bucket rescue instead of just slides? I’m on a 60’ Altec TA60 and a Terex Commander most days, setting 35–45’ poles in tight alleys, and I need credits this quarter. Looking for hands-on courses that hit A92.2 updates, dielectric testing, and real-world pole set rigging under cover-up.
, the slide decks drive me nuts too. Altec Sentry will come on-site and drill A92.2 updates, real ‘bucket rescue’, dielectric checks, and load chart/cribbing on your TA60 with CEUs: Altec Inc – Aerial, Digger Derrick, Crane, Tree Care and Utility Products; Terex Utilities does a hands-on Commander course as well: Terex Training. Need a contact so you can book it this quarter for those tight alley 35–45’ pole sets under cover-up?
I booked @TerexUtilities’ hands-on roadshow for our Commander last spring; they set a 40’ class 3 in a ‘tight alley’, used a load cell to force chart calls, cribbed the outriggers, and ran bucket-rescue reps with A92.2 updates and dielectric checks for CEUs. If you’re running that TA60 too, ask to host it on your trucks at your yard; the only catch was a 6-person minimum and it cost more than a slide class, but it was worth it.
